The Palestinians come from the Gaza Strip and East Ba'arta. Although most of the Israeli Arabs also consider themselves Palestinians, the group here considered Palestinian does not hold Israeli citizenship. There have been no participants from the Gaza group since 2005 because of increased violence and security fears. The East Ba'arta community participates in the Northern Peacemakers Jitli branch.
